THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has confirmed that it has arrested two Home Ministry officials and a civilian in an operation conducted yesterday between 1pm and 5pm in Putrajaya.

The three individuals were detained to assist in the investigation, following information received regarding a corruption case related to the expediting of applications for the confirmation of citizenship status (PTW).

This operation is a continuation of Op Outlander recently conducted by the MACC, it said in a statement.

The Home Ministry is providing full cooperation to the MACC in carrying out the investigation into this case.

Currently, the three individuals are at the MACC Putrajaya headquarters to record their statements for further investigations. – May 8, 2025
