TWO boys were found drowned after they were believed to have fallen into a ditch in Section 24 in Shah Alam, yesterday.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Centre said the two victims, aged 9 and 12, were found unconscious and later confirmed dead.

Six members of the Shah Alam Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) rushed to the scene after receiving a report of the incident at 7.19pm. The operation commander reported that two victims had fallen into the ditch.

The search and rescue operation took about half an hour before the two children were found.

The two victims, identified as Che Syazwan Irwan Shah, 12, and Arshidayan Arijanto, 9, were found and confirmed dead by officials from the Ministry of Health.

The victims were handed over to the police for further action. - July 19, 2025
