LAST man standing - Besut MP, Datuk Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh received praises from fellow elected representatives after reportedly being the only opposition MP who remained in the Dewan Rakyat last night.

This was stated by Bangi MP, Syahredzan Johan via a post on the X platform.

“Well done Besut (Datuk Che Mohamad Zulkifly Jusoh), the last opposition member still in the Dewan. Last man standing,” he wrote.

This was confirmed by Bayan Baru MP, Sim Tze Tzin who informed that only Che Mohamad remained in the Dewan Rakyat session when the clock showed 8.25pm.

"At 8.25pm, YB Besut is the only opposition MP still in the house. Congratulations. Where are the other opposition MPs? Maybe busy planning the Turun Anwar rally?" he tweeted sarcastically.

The action of the majority of opposition representatives leaving the house before the session ended has drawn various reactions from social media users, including some who questioned their commitment to their duties as members of Parliament.

However, Che Mohamad was praised for his responsibility and commitment to his duties as a representative of the people. - July 22, 2025
