AFTER three years on the run, a man known as Aimay who was linked to the murder of a seven-month pregnant woman was arrested by the General Operations Force (GOF) on Jalan Bukit Lata in Pasir Mas.

The suspect, whose real name is Zulhakimy Aiman Suhairuddin, 24, was arrested at 7pm.

Pasir Mas District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Kama Azural Mohamed said that upon initial questioning, Aimay did not admit to firing shots at the woman.

"The suspect also did not admit being involved in the incident," he told reporters.

According to him, further investigations will continue after police obtain a remand order.

Kama Azural said during the raid, the PGA also arrested another 24-year-old man.

"We did not find any illegals items on them and urine screening found both suspects positive for methamphetamine.

"The suspect who was arrested with Aimay had a past record related to drugs," he said.

In 2022, it was reported that Farrah Emirah Mazlan, 26, who was seven months pregnant, was found dead with a gunshot wound inside a car by the roadside in Kampung Repek. She was discovered in her Nissan Cefiro at about 4pm.

Police later launched a manhunt for the man to assist in the investigation. - July 24, 2025
