Police rubbish claim Shah Alam stadium housing Covid-19 patients

KUALA LUMPUR – Police have denied a claim that Covid-19 patients are being housed in an indoor stadium in Shah Alam due to Sg Buloh Hospital’s inability to cope with rising cases.

Selangor acting police chief Datuk Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed that the allegation, made in a video clip that has gone viral, is false.

“The public is urged to remain calm and not be easily influenced by fake news spread by irresponsible parties,” he said in a statement last night. – Bernama, December 26, 2020
