A 21-YEAR-old Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) member drowned while bathing in a waterfall in Kampung Giam, Padawan, Sarawak today.

Padawan District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said his department received a report on the incident from the public at about 12.06 pm.

“The victim was taken out by the public and rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital but was confirmed dead by medical officers. The case is classified as sudden death,” he said in a statement reported by Komso!. - September 21, 2025
