FORCE to the neck has been confirmed as the cause of death of a Year Four student who was found unconscious in the boys' toilet of a school in Seremban, recently

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief, Datuk Alzafny Ahmad, said this was based on the autopsy report conducted at the Forensic Medicine Unit, Rembau Hospital.

"The results of the autopsy conducted on the victim's body found that the cause of death was pressure on the neck.

"The autopsy results also found that there were no other injuries on the victim's body," he said in a statement.

Meanwhile, he informed that so far, 27 statements have been recorded and an investigation is underway.

The victim's body was taken out of the Forensic Medicine Unit, Rembau Hospital, at about 6.30 pm yesterday evening after almost three hours of post-mortem.

The body was then buried at the Forest Heights Islamic Cemetery after the Maghrib prayer.

Earlier, the media reported that the police classified the death case under Section 507C of the Penal Code, which is  for threatening and abusive behaviour.

Alzafny was quoted as saying that the 10-year-old child was found unconscious in a toilet at the school before being sent to a private clinic. - October 3, 2025
