INITIAL investigations revealed that the student who was stabbed to death at a secondary school in Petaling Jaya this morning was stabbed repeatedly using two different weapons.

Petaling Jaya District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Shamsudin Mamat said based on observations of the victim's body, the repeated stabbings are believed to have caused the victim's death.

 "We saw that there were many stab wounds, but it is not yet certain how many times (the victim) was stabbed.

"The post-mortem process is still being carried out which will determine the exact cause of death of the victim," he said as reported by Harian Metro.

Earlier, it was reported that a 16-year-old female student at a secondary school was believed to have been stabbed to death by a 14-year-old male student, today.

Shamsudin reportedly said that the victim was stabbed in the body with what is believed to have been a sharp weapon. – October 14, 2025
