BARISAN Nasional (BN) Sabah today announced the addition of several candidates to face the 17th Sabah General Election (PRN), aimed at strengthening the party's leadership and preparedness.

The announcement was made by Sabah BN Chairman, Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin after reviewing the latest developments and negotiations that have been refined.

According to him, the addition of these candidates is in line with BN's aspirations to ensure more comprehensive, balanced and strategic representation, in line with the needs of the people and the state's political dynamics.

List of additional seats and candidates:

1. N.06 Bandau – Willey Lampaki

2. N.43 Kemabong – Rahmah Jan Binti Sulaiman

3. N.54 Karamunting – Dato' Chin Kim Hiung

4. N.70 Kukusan – Chaya Binti Sulaiman

"This addition reflects Sabah BN's continued commitment to ensuring that every community, especially in constituencies, receives the best defense and service from credible candidates who are ready to shoulder the people's trust," said Bung Moktar in a statement today.

He also stressed that the entire party machinery at all levels must intensify preparations and implement work in an organized, inclusive and focused manner to ensure victory and the people's mandate returns to BN.

Bung Moktar stressed that the line-up of candidates being presented will bring a fresher and more comprehensive leadership offering, not only to strengthen stability, but also to lift Sabah towards more inclusive development.

“Hopefully the entire machinery and candidates will be given strength, courage and success in this PRN,” he added. – November 12, 2025
