POLICE confirmed that three reports had been lodged by Inspector Sheila following dissatisfaction over several incidents involving her.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the first report made by the woman was regarding dissatisfaction with the arrest carried out against her under Section 186 of the Penal Code.
"This report is referred to the original report for review according to investigation procedures," he said in a statement on Friday.
He said the second report was submitted because the woman alleged that the police officer did not respect her as a senior officer.
"As a result of the investigation, the case was classified as NFA (No Further Action) before being referred to the Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS)," he said.
According to him, the third report was made because Inspector Sheila was dissatisfied with a food vendor under a Ketapang tree.
"This case has been classified as NOD (No Offence Disclosed) after a review found that there was no element of offence," he said.
Earlier, a video recording went viral on social media showing the woman allegedly causing a commotion at a food stall in the capital.
The 43-second video shows an argument between the woman involved and a man believed to be the owner of the stall.
The media previously reported that the woman was charged at the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court on Wednesday for obstructing police officers in front of a restaurant last week.
Inspector Sheila, or her real name is Sheila Sharon Steven Kumar, 37, however, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read out against her under Section 186 of the Penal Code. - November 14, 2025
