PERIKATAN Nasional (PN) candidate for the N.16 Karambunai state seat, Datuk Dr Aliakbar Gulasan has pledged to develop a better future for the constituency following his election victory.

Aliakbar, a PAS candidate for PN expressed his gratitude to voters, saying “My heartfelt thanks to all voters of N.16 Karambunai.”

"Your votes represent trust, the sacrifice of your time, and a chain of hope you have placed in me. With humility, my team and I will do our utmost to build a better Karambunai.”

Aliakbar’s win marks a historic milestone for the Islamic party, as it is the party’s first-ever victory in Sabah, achieved in a highly competitive 11-cornered contest. – November 29, 2025
