A FOREIGNER who acted aggressively and went on a rampage using a sharp weapon was arrested at an apartment in Taman Wangsa Permai in Kuala Lumpur, yesterday.

Gombak District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir said the suspect was arrested by police at 11.30am.

“An investigation paper has been opened under Section 506 of the Penal Code for making criminal threats,” he said in a statement.

Noor Ariffin also called on members of the public who saw the incident or have relevant information to come forward to assist in the investigation.

“The public can contact Investigating Officer, Inspector D. Velraj at 013-3631913 or the Gombak District Police Headquarters (IPD) Operations Room at 03-6126 2222,” he said. – December 10, 2025
