A MAN was killed and another was seriously injured in a shooting incident on Jalan Rasah near the Port Dickson Toll Plaza, Seremban, this morning.

The incident occurred at around 7am when both victims were in a Perodua Myvi car before being rushed to the Tunku Jaafar Hospital (HTJ) by members of the public.

Negeri Sembilan Police Chief, Datuk Alzafny Ahmad, said a check found that the seriously injured victim, aged 47, had 15 criminal records involving various offences.

“The Seremban District Headquarters (IPD) Operations Room received a call at 7.53am regarding this incident. Both victims were taken by members of the public to HTJ in critical condition before being treated in the Red Zone. However, one of the victims, aged 43-year-old was confirmed dead while receiving treatment,” he said in a statement today.

According to him, initial investigations at the location found traces of blood stains on the road as well as several bullet casings.

An inspection of the victim's vehicle also found several gunshot traces and the Forensic Unit and the Detection Dog Unit (K9) were deployed to assist in the investigation.

Alzafny said the police were still investigating the cause of the incident with the first victim believed to be the second victim's bodyguard.

The case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code and Section 3 of the Firearms (Heavier Penalties 1971) Act. – December 10, 2025
