Anwar: No room for whining and nagging in PKR
To succeed as one force, there must be a voice representing everyone, sai Anwar - February 7, 2026

PKR has no room for any leader or member who only knows how to whine and nag, when the party needs them to develop and strengthen the party, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stressed.

The PKR president said the people have given a mandate to PKR and Pakatan Harapan (PH) to govern the country, and it is not an empty mandate or just to be proud of the seats and titles received.

"This is a trust to work. Willing to work, stay... don't want to work, leave.

"Those willing to work, focus on developing and strengthening the party, stay. Members whining and nagging endlessly can leave because we still have a lot of work to do.

"Tired of hearing all this ... not providing the party with any constructive views," he said when speaking at the Selangor PKR Convention today.

Anwar also stressed that PKR would continue to defend the rights of the Indian community, and that the party remained firmly committed to Malaysia's multiracial character.

Anwar traced PKR's origins to its belief that Malaysia's diversity - across race and religion - was a political reality to be embraced, not exploited.

"To live in Malaysia, we must safeguard Malays, Chinese, Indians, Ibans, Kadazans and others.

“To succeed as one force, there must be a voice representing everyone. This is the foundation of the change we want to bring for the good of the people,” he said. – February 7, 2026
