THE Bersatu Disciplinary Board today expelled several party MPs with effect from today, following opposition leader Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin.

According to a separate notice issued by the disciplinary board chairman, Datuk Mohd Radzi Manan, they are Gerik MP Fathul Huzir Ayob and Padang Rengas MP Azahari Hasan.

Similar to the dismissal of party deputy president Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin earlier today, the letters stated that they were sacked for allegedly violating Clause 9.1.4 of the party constitution.

Also receiving the same letter was Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal, who had previously had his membership suspended.

Also sacked today was Sabah Bersatu secretary Yunus Nurdin, who had also called for Muhyiddin to resign previously.

The Bersatu Disciplinary Board announced that the decision was made after it convened on 12 February and found that the four individuals involved had violated Clause 9.1.4 of the Bersatu Constitution.

“Following that, the Disciplinary Board decided to dismiss their membership under Clause 22.5, effective from the date of issue of the notice,” according to the content of the notice.

The notice also stressed that the dismissal involved the withdrawal of all party membership rights and was effective immediately.

However, the four former members were still allowed to submit an appeal to the Bersatu Appeals Board within 14 days from the date of issue of the notice. – February 13, 2026
