The price of diesel in West Malaysia will be fixed at RM3.92 per litre, up from RM3.12 per litre.

"To protect the people from the impact of the increase in the market price of petroleum products, the Government will maintain the subsidised price of RON95 for the people at RM1.99 per litre through BUDI95.

"Subsidised price of diesel for the people in Sabah and Sarawak will remain at RM2.15 per litre, while the subsidised price of diesel for the public land transport sector and goods in Peninsular Malaysia will be maintained at RM1.88 and RM2.15 per litre respectively," read the statement.

MOF also said the government would increase the cash assistance for the interim period to diesel vehicle users who qualify under the Individual Diesel BUDI and Agri-Commodity Diesel BUDI from RM200 to RM300 for March 2026.

The additional payment of RM100 will be made starting 17 March 2026. – March 11, 2026
