THE full results for all 56 seats contested in the Johor State Election (PRN) this Saturday are expected to be known at around 10 pm, said the Election Commission.

Its Chairman, Datuk Seri Ramlan Harun, said the target could be achieved following improvements made to the election results management system.

"We are all praying with the existing system, which we have upgraded, and maybe the full results can be known around 10 pm.

"We will not issue early results, but rather immediately announce the full results," he said.

He also called on all eligible voters to come out to vote this Saturday to fulfil their respective responsibilities.

"This is an opportunity for us all to contribute to the country in the democratic system that we currently hold.

"I hope all voters, regardless of age, will come out to vote this Saturday," he said.

He also said the EC recorded 588 offences in the Johor PRN as of today.

In addition, 44 police reports had been made, while three had been reported to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

Ramlan also stated that EC was targeting 96 per cent of early voting to be achieved today. – July 7, 2026
