Medical specialists recommended the procedure, with his office assuring that he is in stable condition - August 3, 2026

DEPUTY Prime Minister II and Energy Transition and Water Transformation Minister (PETRA) Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof will undergo heart bypass surgery at the National Heart Institute (IJN) in the near future after receiving advice from a team of medical specialists.

A statement from his office said Fadillah's condition remains stable, but he has been advised to take complete rest and avoid receiving visitors to allow his treatment and recovery process to proceed without disruption.

"His condition is reported to be stable, however, he has been advised to rest fully and is not encouraged to receive visitors to ensure the treatment and recovery process runs smoothly," the statement said.

The family has urged members of the public to pray for the success of the surgery and for Fadillah to be granted a swift recovery so that he can resume his duties as usual.

They also expressed their sincere appreciation and gratitude to all parties for their prayers, support and concern during this period.
