KOTA KINABALU – Sabah will distribute RM128.98 million worth of cash aid to the people, its second round of Covid-19 Prihatin Assistance, to help affected Sabahans during the movement control order.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said out of the sum, RM97.4 million will be allocated as a RM300 one-off assistance for those under the e-Kasih and B40 group.

Others who are eligible for the assistance are orphans, elderlies, disabled persons, single mothers, farmers, fishermen, breeders, tourist bus drivers, artists, mountain guides and porters, hawkers, as well as taxi, bus, and lorry drivers.

A total of 324,661 people will benefit from the assistance, he said in a statement here today.
