MIRI – Sarawak logs another four Covid-19 deaths today, all recorded at Sibu Hospital.

The state disaster management committee secretariat today said the four deaths bring Sarawak’s death toll to 48.

The four latest deaths were all men, aged between 60 and 95.

The secretariat said the state also saw 178 new cases with Sibu logging 67 cases, followed by Bintulu (24), Dalat (23), Kanowit (21), Kapit (10), Miri (six), and other districts with fewer than five cases.

Sibu Hospital currently has 916 patients, followed by Miri Hospital (385), Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching (154), Bintulu Hospital (174), Kapit Hospital (115), Sarikei Hospital (17), and Limbang Hospital (four).

Sarawak has 12 active clusters, with a total of 5,292 infections to date. – The Vibes, February 5, 2021
