KUALA LUMPUR – I am not for sale, said Putatan MP Awang Husaini Sahari of PKR despite enticement from the other camp.

In a statement today, he said since the Sheraton Move last year he has been approached by several individuals to persuade him to declare support for Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

“In exchange for that support, I was promised many things. But I have rejected every offer and will not betray the reformasi struggle. My support is with (PKR president) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PKR.”

Awang Husaini urged such individuals to stop fishing for support as he cannot be bought.

Recently, PKR lost two of its MPs – Larry Sng (Julau) and Steven Choong (Tebrau) – after they defected and declared themselves government-friendly independents. – The Vibes, March 5, 2021
