KINABATANGAN – The person next to Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin at a dining table with turtle eggs is Lamag community development officer Rozamshah Ismail, who claimed that the photo that had gone viral was edited.

Rozamshah said in a Facebook post that he had uploaded the original photo on his personal Facebook account, but it was then edited by an irresponsible party.

“Here, I post again the actual photo (that I had posted) and I apologise to Bung Moktar for those who had manipulated this photo,” he said in a post today.

In the photo that Rozamshah claimed to be “original”, the white round eggs on the plate looked like peeled boiled chicken eggs – perfectly spherical, white.

The difference is, the viral photo had eggs that looked misshaped, which is how turtle eggs look like due to its soft shell – think of a dented ping pong ball.

Rozamshah works closely with Bung Moktar, who is also Lamag assemblyman and Kinabatangan MP.

Earlier today, a photo of Bung Moktar at a dining table while being served with what appeared to be turtle eggs had gone viral.

Warisan vice-president Datuk Junz Wong was one of the first to post it on his Facebook page.

Wong later told The Vibes that his friend told him that the photo was taken during Bung Moktar’s Hari Raya open house event recently.

The controversial MP – who is renowned for being vocal, fiery, and brash in the Lower House of Parliament – has remained uncharacteristically silent to The Vibes’ queries on the issue. – The Vibes, June 25, 2021
