Selangor leads with 1,796 cases, followed by Sarawak (1,339) and Kelantan (1,052)

Daily Covid-19 count slips to 9,751

KUALA LUMPUR – The number of new Covid-19 cases today declined slightly to 9,751 from yesterday’s 9,890.

This brings the nation’s cumulative total to 2,323,478.

Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement said Selangor leads with 1,796 infections, followed by Sarawak (1,339), Kelantan (1,052), Johor (864), Sabah (705), Terengganu (650), Perak (643), Penang (632) and Kedah (578).

Pahang logged 551 cases, Kuala Lumpur (313), Melaka (244), Negri Sembilan (243), Perlis (94), Putrajaya (45) and Labuan (2). – Bernama, October 8, 2021
