KUALA LUMPUR – The high court here has ordered the Home Affairs Ministry to register Malaysia United Democratic Alliance (Muda) as a political party within 14 days.

The ministry has also been ordered to pay RM10,000 in costs.

In a statement on his Facebook page, Muda founder Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman declared that today is a historic day for the party.

“Finally, the court has decided that Muda must be registered by the ministry as a political party within 14 days,” Saddiq said.

He rallied party members, saying it is time for them to start serving the people.

At its inception, Muda comprised only 30 members; it now boasts over 50,000 individuals.

“Muda wants to be the best representative in Malaysia’s politics, but we have been facing various obstacles and challenges.

“Now we have a large duty on our shoulders to rebuild our country.

“It’s not too late to join Muda’s wave across the country,” Saddiq added. – The Vibes, December 14, 2021
