MIRI – A 12-year-old girl has died of Covid-19, test results showed today. 

She died at her home here, two days after a 3-year-old boy died due to the virus at the Miri Hospital.

The girl did not have any comorbidities and was brought in dead to the hospital by her family on March 20, said the State Disaster Management Committee in a statement today.

There were three other confirmed Covid-19 deaths today in Sarawak, with 960 new infections.

The deaths involved a Sri Aman man aged 82, a Kuching man aged 67, and a Limbang man aged 81.

Two days ago, a toddler and a man aged 85 at the Sarawak General Hospital in Kuching also died of the coronavirus.

The toddler was suffering from chronic lung problems, as well as cerebral palsy. – The Vibes, March 26, 2022
