KUALA LUMPUR – Water supply has been restored to 94%, or 1,199 areas in the Klang Valley affected by an unscheduled disruption, as of 9pm yesterday.
Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd, in a statement, said supply to the remaining 80 areas is in the process of being restored.
Consumers who have received supply are advised to use water wisely to ensure the restoration is completed smoothly.
Air Selangor said it will provide updates from time to time on its social media accounts, app and website.
On Tuesday, the agency said operations at the Rantau Panjang, and Sg Selangor Phases 1, 2 and 3 water treatment plants were suspended following river pollution.
The shutdown affected 1,139,008 account holders in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling, Klang, Shah Alam, Kuala Selangor, Gombak and Kuala Langat. – Bernama, November 13, 2020
