ALOR STAR – The Kedah government today announced a RM1,000 special assistance for state civil servants, as well as a RM200 one-off payment for Health Department frontliners.

Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor, when tabling the 2021 state budget today, said the special assistance, involving an allocation of RM5.6 million, will be made next month.

“The payment for Kedah Health Department frontliners, in recognition of their service and dedication, will be credited to their accounts at the end of the year.”

He added that the state welcomes feedback and ideas to boost its development and well-being. – Bernama, November 15, 2020
