KUALA LUMPUR – The Damanlela construction site here is the highest single Covid-19 cluster today, with over one-third of the overall 1,208 cases

In a statement, Health Director-General Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the ministry has identified 460 new infections as of noon, bringing the total number of cases in the cluster to 747, of which only three have recovered.

Overall, 3,069 individuals from the cluster have been screened.

Other than Damanlela, the clusters with the highest number of cases today are Teratai (53), Perigi (33), Intan, (33) and Hentian (29).

The cumulative cases for these clusters are 214, 247, 138, and 730, respectively.

He said the Health Ministry has identified three new clusters today – two in Sabah with Plaza in Kota Kinabalu and Jalan Kalabakan in Tawau, and one in Johor with the Jeri cluster, which covers the Kota Tinggi, Mersing and Muar districts.

Noor Hisham said 12 individuals in the Plaza cluster have been identified as positive to date, with 11 of those being new cases today.

“For the Jalan Kalabakan cluster, we have screened 22 individuals so far, with all 22 coming back positive, three of which were reported today.

“For Jeri, 1,170 individuals have been tested, and 26 of them are positive. 525 came back negative, while the remaining 609 are awaiting results.”. – The Vibes, November 15, 2020
