KUALA LUMPUR – Police are on the hunt for some 20 people involved in a riot, including one caught on video standing on the hood of a car while kicking the windscreen.

The car owner, in a police report, said he and some friends were at an eatery in Sri Petaling at approximately 2.30am Monday and witnessed two groups of men fighting with alcohol bottles and steel rods.

As a result of their fights, several cars parked along Jalan Sri Radin were damaged.

Brickfields police chief Ahimizam Abdul Shukor said police are in the midst of tracking down the suspects and the case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code.

If found guilty, offenders face jail of two years or a fine, or both.
