KUALA LUMPUR – Pakatan Harapan (PH) has yet to discuss matters related to cooperation with Muda, said the coalition’s chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar, who is also PKR president, said the matter was not discussed in the PH presidential council.

“PH did not discuss the matter (collaboration with Muda), the matter did not arise; there is no problem with collaboration and discussions, even among the opposition. But the question about (Muda) being part of PH has not been discussed by the PH presidential council,” he said.

Anwar said this to reporters when met at the 2022 Climate Change Symposium organised by the Opposition Leader’s office together with the Dewan Rakyat Speaker’s Office and Parliament at the Parliament building, today.

Meanwhile, Muda is ready to cooperate with PH in the upcoming 15th general election (GE15), said its president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

He said this when met outside the hall where Muda held a closed-door workshop today in conjunction with the party’s election conference taking place tomorrow.

According to Syed Saddiq, Muda will appoint and announce the party’s election director and election committee for GE15 at tomorrow’s conference.

He said Muda hopes to have more women at the forefront of the candidate selection process to get its election machinery moving. – Bernama, September 5, 2022
