KUALA LUMPUR – The Dewan Rakyat meeting today will not end until all ministries have completed their winding-up session.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law) Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan had filed the motion under Standing Order 12 (1), which received the Lower House’s support.

“Disregarding the past motion on Thursday, November 5, 2020, under Standing Order 12 (1) I would like to motion that today’s meeting, on Thursday, November 26, 2020, will not be postponed until all ministries have completed their winding-up at policy level for the Supply Bill 2021.

“After the second reading and the motion on the development estimates, the meeting will be postponed until 10am, Monday morning.”

Nine ministries are due to complete their winding-up session today.

Generally, after all ministries, including the Finance Ministry, have completed their wind-up session, the speaker will call the House to vote for the annual Budget. – The Vibes, November 26, 2020
