PAGOH Member of Parliament, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, has been moved to Block E based on the latest seating arrangement plan for MPs in the Dewan Rakyat, which was updated on the official parliament website as of Friday.

The position of the opposition leader, who is also the Member of Parliament for Larut, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin, remains unchanged as he continues to occupy a seat in the front row of the opposition bloc.

Hamzah is placed next to Kemaman Member of Parliament, who is also the Chairman of the Perikatan Nasional (PN), Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, while Marang Member of Parliament, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang, is next to Ahmad Samsuri.

Muhyiddin previously held the position of PN Chairman, sitting next to the opposition leader.

Based on the calendar through the Parliament portal, the second meeting of the fifth term of the 15th Parliament is scheduled to last for 16 days, starting from 22 June to 16 July.

The first meeting of the Dewan Rakyat ended on 3 March, after sitting for 20 days.

Previously, rumours claimed that the Dewan Rakyat sitting was cancelled to make way for the elections in several states in the Peninsula.

The meeting is expected to focus on various political issues, including the latest developments in the opposition bloc following the leadership changes in PN. – June 20, 2026
