KUALA LUMPUR – The Umno disciplinary board is looking into a written complaint filed by members against former secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa for allegedly making public sensitive information on the party.

Sources told The Vibes that the complainants said his comments in the Soalan Cepumas programme on the Umno Online YouTube channel can be interpreted as party secrets.

It is learnt that a senior party member filed a report with the disciplinary board on November 24.

The programme, published on November 20, features an interview with Annuar and party information chief Shahril Suffian Hamdan.

“The open discussion touched on the Supreme Council leadership and some party issues that should not have been made public. I implore the disciplinary board to investigate my claims,” an Umno member told The Vibes.

Annuar and Shahril could not be reached for comment.
