PETALING JAYA – Netizens are up in arms following a viral video which shows a man, believed to be a foreigner, sexually harassing a female student at a supermarket.

The incident is alleged to have taken place at a supermarket in Sg Buloh, Selangor, recently.

According to the viral CCTV footage, the suspect was seen following the student and pretending to browse through some items on the shelves.

Then, suddenly, the man is seen touching the student’s chest, as he pretends to grab something from another shelf.

The girl is shocked and runs away to call another woman, believed to be her mother, for help.

The woman confronts the man while another customer also steps in to help.

Together, they apprehend the man while someone calls the police.
