DEAR Khairy Jamaluddin and team,

This letter is in reference to a statement by Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun Ipoh director Dr Abdul Malek Osman that Datuk Kaiser Gurmeet Harden and Datin Ainur Syakina “Eina” Azman had their pre-vaccination assessment (PVA) done by medical experts who deemed them high risk and clarified that they did not jump queue at the hospital.

I would like to demand that the list of private medical experts and healthcare providers who can deem patients high risk for PVA be made public as soon as possible to help people aged between 18 and 59 with comorbidity issues avoid the hassle of queuing up and participating in your vaccine registration e-sport.

Please also make public a detailed list of what kind of comorbidity that doctors, specialists and medical experts both in public and private practice deem high risk under the PVA.

As far as I know, I was informed by a medical officer at a private hospital that there is no such PVA carried out by private hospitals and that it must be made by government medical officers at a vaccination centre or hospital for whatever comorbidity. Private hospitals can only provide reference letters.

I seek clarification and an official announcement from you and your team. – The Vibes, May 27, 2021
