HOW many of us at one time or another just completely lose it?
Anger is a natural emotion and is usually a response to how we interpret and react to certain situations. Everyone has their own triggers for what makes them angry. But some common ones include situations in which we feel threatened or attacked, frustrated or powerless.
Anger can be a good thing. It can give you a way to express negative feelings, for example, or motivate you to find solutions to problems.
But excessive anger can cause problems like saying things you regret, yelling at your children, being toxic to your colleagues, sending rash emails, developing health problems, or even resorting to physical violence.

While aggressive behaviour may get your needs met in the short term, there are long-term consequences to not getting your anger under control.
Dr Joel this week explores the emotions lurking beneath the anger, which often serves as a protective mask to help you avoid feeling more painful emotions like embarrassment, sadness, and disappointment. – The Vibes, August 1, 2022
