HELLO, MCO Warriors! It’s now Week 3 of Lockdown 2.0.

Last week, remember when I told you the bitter truth about the recent lockdown ─ that it was going to be implemented for at least a month?

Well, in case you haven’t been updated on the ongoing news, the MCO has been extended until 4th February, 2021.

Now, that we’ve established that, here’s my question to you: have you been keeping fit and trim since my last article on ‘how to start a running habit for beginners’?

If you haven’t started running outdoors because you’re afraid of being infected by the coronavirus, here’s a simple workout for all the indoor warriors out there.

All it takes is a solid 30-minute session to burn off a minimum of 250 calories with the following workout set (please take 15 seconds to rest between each exercise):
•  Jumping Jacks (for 1 minute)
•  Jump Squats (for 45 seconds)
•  Front Back Leg Shuffles (for 45 seconds)
•  Mountaineers (for 45 seconds)
•  Push-ups (for 45 seconds)
•  Bridge Hold (for 45 seconds)

Total time spent on each set is 6 minutes. Repeat each set 3 times (please take 1 minute to rest between each set).

Total workout time is 20 minutes. Finish off your exercise routine with 10 minutes of core exercises followed by a light cooling-down session i.e. perform some good stretches while you take a slow jog or walk around the house

Have fun, and don't forget to hydrate.

With that, love, Tana ─ The Vibes, 27 January, 2021
