PETALING JAYA – The Football Association of Malaysia’s (FAM) executive committee has decided to use a new logo for the Pestabola Merdeka tournament which will take place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium from October 14 to 17.

FAM deputy president Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mahadi said the matter was decided at a committee meeting held at Wisma FAM yesterday.

He said the meeting also decided the ticket prices for the tournament.

Tickets will cost RM5 for children and RM40 for adults, while grandstand seats will be sold at RM60 and premium ones at RM80, said Yusoff.

“We will also sell RM70 combo tickets for both matches from August 1 to 5 only,” he told a press conference after the meeting here.

Last March, FAM president Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin announced that after a 10-year hiatus, Pestabola Merdeka is set to make a comeback with teams like India, Palestine, and Lebanon coming to challenge the national squad. – Bernama, June 7, 2023
