THE cooperation between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) is expected to continue in Melaka, BN chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said.
Speaking after declaring that the BN-PN alliance had secured 25 of the 36 seats in the Negeri Sembilan election, Zahid said the partnership would be extended towards forming a state administration focused on the interests of the people.
He said discussions would be held on the formation of the new Negeri Sembilan government following the coalition’s performance at the polls.
Zahid did not elaborate on the details of the discussions but said the cooperation reflected the commitment between both parties to provide political stability and effective governance.
