SINGAPORE – Singapore today confirmed 15 coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with five of them being imported.
The Health Ministry, in a statement, said the imported cases have been placed on the stay-home notice, and that there are no infections within the community.
The latest figure takes the republic’s Covid-19 tally to 57,700.
In its report last night, the ministry classified 1,041 cases as imported, community (2,245) and foreign workers residing in dormitories (54,399).
It said 57,359 patients have been discharged after making a full recovery, while 25 are still in hospital.
The country has seen 27 virus fatalities since the first death was reported on March 21. – Bernama, September 27, 2020
