JAKARTA – More than 16.3 million Indonesians have received their first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while over 10.5 million have completed the two-dose regimen.

The country started its vaccination programme on January 13, using the Sinovac and AstraZeneca jabs.

According to data tweeted by the National Disaster Management Agency, Indonesia as of yesterday logged a total of 1,816,041 coronavirus infections.

Of that figure, 1,663,998 patients have recovered, while 50,404 lost their lives. – Bernama, May 31, 2021
