ROOFTOPPING couple Angela Nikolau and Ivan Beerkus are set to speak publicly about the controversy surrounding their reported Empire State Building incident, with the pair announcing a livestream session to address questions from their followers.

The couple, known for their high-altitude photography and extreme urban adventures, said they would use the Gosh Live session to talk about the incident, its aftermath and issues they have yet to address publicly.

“We want to answer the questions directly and share what we have been going through,” the couple said in a social media announcement.

Angela and Ivan rose to international attention through their rooftop photography featuring skyscrapers and landmarks around the world.

Their journey was later documented in Netflix’s Skywalkers: A Love Story, which explored their relationship and the risks behind their work.

The pair recently became the subject of widespread discussion after reports claimed they were taken into police custody following an alleged climb of the Empire State Building in New York, where they reportedly completed a proposal. They now face related charges.

The incident triggered debate online, with some followers expressing concern over the risks associated with their content while others waited for the couple’s response.

During the livestream, Angela and Ivan are expected to discuss the incident, their relationship and whether they plan to continue creating rooftop-based content.

Gosh Live said the session was designed as an entertainment and community interaction event, adding that it does not encourage or endorse dangerous, illegal or unauthorised activities.

“The livestream is intended solely as an entertainment and community interaction session,” Gosh said in a statement.

The livestream is scheduled for July 26 at 9 pm UTC on the official Gosh Live platform. – July 27, 2026
