THE Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), in collaboration with the International Police (Interpol), are still tracking a married couple, including the founder of the eHati family motivation program, who are believed to have fled abroad.
Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Shazeli Kahar, said police believe the couple involved is still abroad.
"The individuals being sought have not been found, and we believe they are still outside Malaysia.
"However, appropriate action has been taken by PDRM to ensure that if they are detected in relevant countries, arrests can be carried out and they can assist the PDRM.
"We have been cooperating with Interpol since the beginning," he told a press conference of the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department and the Commercial Criminal Investigation Department at the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters, today.
On November 14 last year, Shazeli confirmed that the couple facing charges in court is believed to have fled abroad.
He said investigations found that both suspects are believed to have fled the day before the charges were to be carried out.
He said that the police believe that on October 13, 2025, they fled abroad, with the charges being carried out on October 14, 2025.
Earlier, the media reported that two people, including the founder of eHATI, are now wanted by the police after an arrest warrant was issued against them after both failed to appear for the charges in court.
Previously, the police revealed that a total of 95 individuals had been called to give statements regarding the organisation of a marriage motivation event at a convention centre in Section 15, Shah Alam, in September last year.
Police investigations also found that a nude scene occurred at the Queen's Night event, which was organised by the organisation, involving four individuals who were facilitators for the programme. – April 28, 2026
