IN 2019, the year where my spiritual awakening began, I had a sudden epiphany while swimming one evening. It was loud and clear, for me to fulfil one of my long-forgotten childhood dreams in writing a book.

At that moment, I realised what it means to experience a calling. I was bewildered, many questions filled my mind. Amidst that, I heard a gentle yet reassuring whisper from my soul reminding me that I had forgotten it is part of my life’s purpose.

Devoted to my inner journey by diligently attending extensive meditation classes, it astonished me to discover that I had not been loving myself enough. In my pursuit to understand the root cause for my lack of self-love, I discovered that I had been conditioned by many external factors.

Upon digging deeper, I learned that it comes from multiple sources; both unconsciously and consciously.

As a result, it moulded my belief system and got me rejecting my childhood dreams for I had been instilled with the belief that I was not good enough.

It dawned on me that by denying my dreams, I was also rejecting myself.

The process of relearning and healing myself is like peeling layers of an onion. I had to peel layers of conditioning and belief systems I picked up since my formative years which were not mine and not empowering me for my highest good. I set myself free from self-sabotaging, self-judgement, competitiveness, and the like.

Through my journey of self-love, I realised that the process is not as straightforward as it sounds. It takes a great deal of courage and strength to face the rawness and vulnerability within, which can be gut-wrenching.

It is the most complicated self-relationship because you cannot abandon you. You must deal with every flaw, you must forgive you regardless, and find a way to love you even when you are disgusted with you.

I grasped the true essence of self-love on an extremely profound level and begin to redefine my relationship with myself.

As I embrace more self-love, I experience a greater sense of inner alignment that leads to profound life-changing miracles.

In nearly two years of procrastination due to fear and judgement, I never gave up my inner work that today, I am no longer bound by the conditioning that used to hold me back. In fulfilling my long-forgotten childhood dream; I am delighted to birth 'WTF? Just Press Reset!'.

Inspired by the depths of my self-discovery, I wrote this book through the lens of self-love, revealing my learnings and breakthroughs from life conditioning, subliminal corporate programming, and abandonment of the inner child.

My book serves to empower individuals to unleash their full potential to self-love, so they could be in their flow and recreate lives based on their true purpose.

FLOW with these tips in raising your vibration to self-love:

  • Free yourself from giving too much. Balance comes through the ability to receive as well.
  • Laugh more, watch comedies, and listen to *subliminal healing frequency music to sleep.
  • Open to being vulnerable, embrace your authenticity. It is the first step to self-acceptance and not derail you into someone you are not.
  • Warm yourself under the morning sun for five to 10 minutes while taking deep breaths, soaking up the high vibrational energy.

In a world where you are constantly told you are not enough; it takes courage to be yourself. Love yourself. Live your dreams. – The Vibes, June 21, 2021
