HER Facebook profile reads: “Entrepreneur, Actor, Celebrity, Influencer, Model. I’m everywhere.” With 17.2 million followers on Instagram alone (with Grammy winning rapper Snoop Dogg amongst them), Ms Siew Pui Yi is indeed everywhere.

For those who had never heard of this 23-year-old personality, she came to mass attention in January this year when she brought some fame (or infamy?) to Malaysia when she was unveiled as January’s Penthouse magazine covergirl.

Following that, on Valentine’s Day, Ms Pui Yi released her debut single, Men-Mory, a collaboration with music producer Goldfish, which in true Ms Pui Yi fashion, showed the world what she is all about – sexy, confident, and unapologetic.

Every strong brand has an incredible backstory. When private photos of hers she claimed were hijacked led to blackmail, she took that crisis in hand despite failing mental health at the time and plotted her own destiny.

The Vibes sat down with Ms Pui Yi and got to know just how personable she is and how open she is about her past, present and plans for the future.

Tomorrow in Part 2 of Unapologetically Pui Yi, she details the nightmare event that changed her life and shot her to erotic stardom. – The Vibes, April 1, 2022
