THE number of flood evacuees in Kelantan rose to 4,530 people as of 8am today, compared to 4,398 people last night.
According to the Social Welfare Department’s Info Bencana portal, the evacuees are taking shelter at 12 relief centres in Pasir Mas and Tanah Merah.
The bulk of the evacuees are housed in 17 shelters in Pasir Mas.
In Tanah Merah, the Padang Kijang community centre is housing 19 people.
