IN the true spirit of multiculturalism, teachers and students of all backgrounds came together to celebrate the Yuletide season at a recent potluck held in a Sarawak school.

According to reports in The Borneo Post, Julius Mundor, who is the principal of SMK Taee in Serian, said the occasion signified the true essence of togetherness and a sense of unity.

“Christmas is a time for togetherness and a season where we reflect on the importance of selflessness, forgiveness and becoming better versions of ourselves,” he said.

Mimi Norazazaimah Mohiddin, who is SMK Taee Teachers Club treasurer, said while they did sometimes have differences, they always got back together.

“I love being a member of this one big, happy family. We always enjoy working and having fun together.

“This heart-warming potluck event has left an indelible mark on the school's community, reminding us of the joy in sharing good food and creating lasting memories,” she added. – The Vibes, December 19, 2023.
