THOUGH it remains unclear if it is a marketing gimmick, an allegedly cheating husband has since responded to his other half – also via a billboard.

Last week, photographs of a giant billboard in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur went viral on social media, showing a message allegedly from a woman who found her husband cheating on her.

The message read, “Hi Kevin (full name), you lying, cheating, overcompensating loser. Caught you at Jerry Coworking Space TTDI! All on video. Choose a windowless room next time.

“DON’T CALL ME! MY LAWYERS WILL CALL YOU.

“Your (soon-to-be ex) wife, Shin Yi.”

While some felt it was serious, others said it was fishy.

Yesterday, images were once again shared on social media – this time involving a billboard along Jalan Maarof in Bangsar.

The alleged husband, “Kevin”, responded in Bahasa Malaysia, saying: “To my beautiful, loving but overly suspicious angel. I purposely used a room with windows. It was not only you that saw me drinking Wonda coffee with my working colleagues. Nothing more. I will convince our lawyers, the same way I convinced you that I am the perfect man for you. Your loving husband, Kevin Teoh.”

He even signed off with a kiss emoji.

Many netizens believe this is just a marketing gimmick, most likely linked to “Wonda coffee”, since it is mentioned in Kevin’s message. – The Vibes, December 23, 2023
