VOGUE Singapore Foundation is inviting fashion and beauty businesses across Southeast Asia to apply for the fourth edition of the Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize.

Programme director Petra Sekhar urged Malaysian entrepreneurs with innovative solutions to real-world problems to apply.

“This prize aims to provide a platform for trailblazing ideas,” Sekhar said.

The initiative, in partnership with BMW Group Asia, seeks to elevate Southeast Asian creatives globally.

Past winners include Claudia Poh’s adaptive fashion label Wearable, ProjectEx’s lab-grown exotic skins, and COzTERRA’s AI-driven carbon capture solutions.

This year, businesses focussing on sustainability, technology, or novel business models are encouraged to apply.

Shortlisted applicants will attend a two-day bootcamp and a four-week mentorship programme, culminating in a pitch to an international jury.

The winner will receive S$20,000 (RM69,600), a year-long membership at the Singapore Fashion Council, media coverage, legal consultation, and a trip to Monaco for mentorship sessions and investor meetings.

Applications close at 11.59pm on August 4, 2024. For more details and to apply, visit https://vogue.sg/vogue-bmw-innovation-prize-2024/. – July 16, 2024.
