FORMER prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been warded at the National Heart Institute (IJN). 

His spokesman Sufi Yusoff told Bloomberg News today that the 99-year-old premier was admitted for chronic cough on Monday.

Dr Mahathir has been in and out of hospitals over the past few years. He was last warded in IJN in January, where he was admitted for 53 days, for treatment of infection and observation. – July 18, 2024.
